Job summary

Mesh Bio is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a skilled engineering team in delivering scalable healthtech solutions from a startup hub in Singapore. You will translate product needs into robust technical plans, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product, design, and commercial teams.

You will drive agile delivery, champion code quality, CI/CD, security, and data privacy, while shaping engineering practices in a fast-growing environment focused on chronic disease care.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software engineering experience
• 2–3 years in a team leadership or management role
• Strong full-stack development knowledge and modern frameworks
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in agile environments
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication
• Healthtech or regulated industries experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers to deliver features and updates.
• Oversee acquisition and development of software systems.
• Monitor quality and performance of software solutions.
• Provide technical expertise on PoC and platform features with security considerations.
• Collaborate with product, design, commercial, and customer success teams.
• Translate requirements into technical specs, sprints, and tasks.
• Plan, design, and deploy projects using agile methodologies.
• Promote best practices including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical risks affecting delivery timelines.
• Facilitate architectural planning and scalable product development.
• Support performance reviews and career progression of engineers.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance standards are met.
