Job summary

U3 PROJECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a mid-level software engineer with 3+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin for backend development and React for frontend interfaces. You will participate in end-to-end software development lifecycle, design scalable architectures, review code, and provide production support in a fast-paced agile environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, along with continuous learning and technology innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related discipline with strong fundamentals in programming and system design.
• Hands-on experience in full software development lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Solid programming expertise of at least 3 years in Java and/or Kotlin with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
• Develop modern user interfaces using frontend technologies such as React, ensuring responsive design and enhanced user experience.
• Analyze complex technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and deliver effective troubleshooting solutions in production environments.
• Design system architecture, implement technical solutions, and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain coding standards and application quality.
• Work independently in production support, incident resolution, system enhancements, and continuous performance optimization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Demonstrate learning agility and adaptability to evolving technologies with a commitment to continuous improvement.
