Job summary

Tech Aalto PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Kotlin to join our backend team in Singapore. The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance applications using modern frameworks and a strong emphasis on Agile collaboration.

Applicants should have hands-on Java and Kotlin experience, be comfortable with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms. You will work with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development
• 1+ year of hands-on Kotlin experience
• Backend focus with scalable, high-performance systems
• Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Proficiency in REST APIs and microservices
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Kotlin
