Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience leading software development teams or serving as a Tech Lead.
• Good understanding of modern software architecture and application development.
• Experience delivering web-based or enterprise software projects.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed software development teams is an advantage.

About the Company

We are a Singapore-based technology company specialising in Industrial IoT, enterprise software platforms, cloud applications, AI-enabled solutions, and smart infrastructure technologies across Southeast Asia.

To support our regional growth, we are establishing an Offshore Development Centre (ODC) in Vietnam and/or Malaysia to deliver software engineering, cloud applications, IoT integrations, analytics, and enterprise solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Delivery Lead to lead our software development team and support the successful delivery of enterprise software and Industrial IoT projects.

Working closely with the Programme Director and Business Analyst, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate software development activities, monitor project progress, and guide the Offshore Development Centre (ODC) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

This role is ideal for an experienced Technical Lead or Senior Software Engineer looking to take the next step into technical leadership while remaining hands-on in software development.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development Leadership

• Lead and mentor the software development team.
• Provide technical guidance on software design and implementation.
• Review application designs and source code.

Software Delivery

• Coordinate software development activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and technical deliverables.
• Track development progress and identify potential risks or delays.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project review meetings.
• Support production deployment and post-implementation activities.

Offshore Development Centre (ODC)

• Lead and support the Offshore Development Centre (ODC) located in Vietnam and/or Malaysia.
• Coordinate development activities with the Offshore Engineering Lead.
• Mentor software developers and encourage continuous learning.
• Support technical interviews and onboarding of new developers when required.
• Foster collaboration between the Singapore and offshore teams.

Project & Stakeholder Support

• Prepare project status updates and technical progress reports.
• Work closely with the Programme Director to monitor project delivery.
• Participate in customer meetings when technical input is required.
• Communicate project progress, technical issues, and proposed solutions to stakeholders.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience leading software development teams or serving as a Technical Lead.
• Good understanding of modern software architecture and application development.
• Experience delivering web-based or enterprise software projects.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Reporting Structure
