Job summary

You will document requirements, translate them into functional specs and SRS, analyze processes, and collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility while coordinating UAT and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, BIS, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional specifications.
• Familiarity with web applications, databases, APIs, or software development concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications and SRS documents.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend software solutions to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are feasible and understood.
• Prepare process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications where necessary.
• Coordinate UAT, verify developed features, and ensure all requirements are fulfilled before deployment.
• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Work with QA and support teams during project deployment.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
• Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes, requirements, UAT reports, user guides, and release notes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients through professional consultation and timely support.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand, analyze, and document business requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline

• At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Software Project Coordinator, or similar role

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional specifications

• Familiarity with web applications, databases, APIs, or software development concepts will be an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
