Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is hiring a Safety Officer to lead WSH and environmental management across project sites in Singapore. You will develop, implement and monitor systems, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with the WSH Act.

The ideal candidate has a Safety Officer Training or Specialist Diploma in WSH and is a Registered ECO, with at least 2 years of WSH experience in construction. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must complete Safety Officer Training or Specialist Diploma in WSH.
• Be a Registered ECO with valid credentials.
• At least 2 years WSH experience, incl. construction sites.
• Solid knowledge of WSH Act, regs, and legal requirements.
• Familiar with WSHMS and safety management practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor WSH and Environmental Management Systems across project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain records and ensure compliance.
• Ensure site operations comply with WSH Act and regulations.
• Review risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and follow-up actions.
• Attend site meetings and resolve HSE-related issues.
• Promote continuous improvement of safety practices.
