Responsibilities

• Run daily site operations including crew deployment, work front scheduling, and equipment allocation during shutdown windows.
• Assist the Project Manager with daily site activities.
• Liaise with Client and the Client’s representatives on project-related matters.
• Plan, schedule and organize site manpower, equipment and materials.
• Prepare work programs and method statements.
• Apply for and manage site work permits.
• Maintain daily site diaries and prepare works progress reports and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Attend relevant meetings and disseminate information to all parties involved.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Department on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing handover documents on completion of the project.

Balanced Engineering & Construction is a specialist industrial contractor delivering complex construction, maintenance, and infrastructure works across Southeast Asia and beyond. We operate in live-plant environments, shutdown-critical projects, and height-intensive structures. Our refinery clients are repeat clients, which is the clearest measure we have of whether our site teams get it right.

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Refinery Site Supervisor to join our team and oversee repairs and maintenance activities during shutdown projects. You will supervise the crew on the ground through the turnaround window, manage permits and work fronts with the client’s operations team, control the quality of completed work before handover, and stop work when conditions are not safe.
