DOVRE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a Machinery Engineer with 5–10 years of refinery/petrochemical experience to support Singapore Manufacturing Complex operations. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands‑on engineering for plant equipment and systems.

Maintenance or frontline supervisor skills
1. Machinery Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in working Refinery / Petrochemical industry
2. Sound engineering knowledge in the mechanical Engineering or related field
3. Able to understand machinery fundamentals and apply academic knowledge to resolve problems
4. Interface and collaboration with good communication skills
5. Good communication in English (both verbal and written) is a pre-requisite
Understand and demonstrate compliance to Site Safety rules, lead by example and reinforce safety mindset among the team.
Understand Business Controls and compliance to company standards, lead by example and reinforce control sensitivity among team.
Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex (SCP and Refinery) for safe and reliable operations. The work includes but not be limited to engineering assessment, engineering design, plant troubleshooting and equipment failure root cause failure analysis, long term equipment improvement initiatives and provide engineering solutions to problems in specific field
Provide support for major shutdown maintenance or major equipment maintenance work. E.g. T/A or GTGs major inspection etc
Key contact for their area of expertise
Provide technical training as required in the area of expertise
Collaborate among Business Team (PMTE) and participate in respective network activities as required
1) Day to day field engineering support for machinery equipments
2) Troubleshooting in field and provide resolution and follow up on engineering deliverables
3) Proactively mitigate bad actors
4) Compliance to site SHE protocols
5) Compliance to company's control requirements
Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
In addition to all Level 1 tasks, Level 2 will:
Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, operations and mechanical personnel
Proactively seek reliability improvements directed at increasing plant equipment uptime while reducing maintenance costs
Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices
Ensure safe, cost effective, operable machinery and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
