Job summary

Hong Yang Development Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to manage construction activities on site in Singapore. You will oversee daily operations, supervise subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with plans and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to train carpenters and rebar workers, and to enforce safety programmes. A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience is expected for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction site supervision experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams on-site and coordinate subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site safety programmes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all responsibilities of a Site Supervisor on a construction site.
• Train carpenters and rebar workers.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site and attend meetings.
• Ensure work meets specifications and quality standards via inspections.
• Oversee daily site operations and supervise subcontractors.
• Enforce safety measures and implement the safety programme.
• Liaise with subcontractor managers, project managers, site managers, and surveyors on cost control and variations.

Job description

1. To carry out all responsibilities of a Site Supervisor in a Construction site

2. Able to train skills for both carpenters and rebar workers

3. Min 10 years relevant experience in the related field for this position

4. Be able to work independently with minimum guidance

5. Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project

6. Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.

7. To oversee daily operation at site. Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.

8. To ensure that workers comply with all safety measures required. Require to carry out the effective implementation of work safety programme.

9. Liaise with sub-contractors Manager/Project Manager, Site Manager/Agent, and Contract Surveyor regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.
