Job summary

VDCON PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to plan, manage and monitor construction projects from inception to completion on time and to the required quality in Singapore.

The role requires ensuring adherence to specifications, managing site safety, materials and machinery, and coordinating with Mandarin-speaking contractors. Candidates should hold a Safety Supervisor certificate, possess strong technical problem-solving skills, and be capable of handling attendance, disputes, and daily

Qualifications

• Safety supervisor certification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge to resolve site issues.
• Check daily attendance of workers.
• Able to communicate with Mandarin-speaking contractors.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to work in dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects from inception to completion on time and of desired quality.
• Ensure performance complies with specifications, technical clarifications, and drawings.
• Oversee site administration including safety and control of materials and machinery on site.
• Ensure delivered construction materials meet specifications.
• Prepare daily site reports, monitor progress, take site measurements.
• Minimise material and manpower wastage.
• Handle labour and supplier disputes.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Rectify and supervise works on site.
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Project coordinator, manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Ensure performance complies with specifications, technical clarifications, and drawings.
• Responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials and machinery on site
• To ensure delivered construction materials are of specified requirements
• Prepare daily site reports, take site progress, check and take site measurements
• Minimise material and manpower wastage
• Handle labour and supplier disputes
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting
• Able to rectify and supervise works done on site
• Able to work on weekend/public holiday.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Certificate requirement in Safety Supervisor
• Strong technical knowledge and capability to solve technical and site issues
• Check daily attendance of workers for late arrival, absence, false claim, etc
• Able to communicate with Mandarin speaking contractors
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to work at dusty environment
