Job summary

Albert Bow Limited is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance and scalability of a high-frequency trading platform in Singapore. You will work across bare metal, cloud, ultra-low latency networking and Kubernetes to ensure uptime and fast response.

You will build and operate in-house Kubernetes operators, improve CI/CD and monitoring, and collaborate with engineering, trading and data teams to deliver robust infrastructure in a fast, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bare metal, cloud, network configuration experience.

• AWS or GCP with Terraform and Ansible.
• Prometheus and Grafana experience for monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Keep critical infrastructure running across cloud, data pipelines and core systems.
• Monitor and optimise network infrastructure for peak performance and minimal downtime.
• Build and maintain in-house Kubernetes operators for evolving stacks.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with FluxCD, GitHub Actions and Python scripting.
• Develop proactive monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana and related tools.
• Participate in day-to-day operations and incident management.
• Collaborate with trading and engineering teams to deliver what is needed.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Site Reliability Engineer | HFT Digital Asset Trading Firm | Singapore

The Opportunity

I'm working with a global digital asset trading firm on a key SRE hire. You'll be responsible for the reliability, performance and scalability of their high frequency trading platform, sitting right at the heart of infrastructure operations and working closely with engineering, trading and data.

It's a technical seat that pulls together bare metal, cloud, ultra low latency networking and Kubernetes. The right person has run serious infrastructure before and cares about uptime when every millisecond counts.

What You'll Do

• Keep critical infrastructure running, including cloud, data pipelines and core trading systems
• Monitor and optimise network infrastructure for peak performance and minimal downtime
• Build and maintain in house Kubernetes operators to manage an evolving stack
• Improve CI/CD systems using FluxCD, GitHub Actions and Python scripting
• Build proactive monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana and similar tools
• Take part in day to day operations and incident management
• Work with trading and engineering teams to understand what they need and deliver it
• Explain technical concepts clearly to non technical stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Deep experience with bare metal deployments, cloud architecture and network configuration
• Strong Kubernetes experience across global setups
• Knowledge of network administration, especially for ultra low latency setups and interconnects
• Experience with AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Hands on experience with Prometheus, Grafana and proactive detection systems
• Comfortable coding in Go, Rust or Python for automation and tooling
• Nice to have: trading or HFT experience, FinOps and cost optimisation knowledge, and performance tuning in high throughput environments.
