Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Production Manager (Steel) to lead end-to-end fabrication and oversee daily steel production, ensuring quality and on-time delivery across factory and site environments.

You will coordinate with construction teams, optimize workflows, manage timelines, supervise subcontractors, and uphold safety and QA standards to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Drive Production Excellence: Oversee daily steel production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
• Optimize workflows, manpower planning, and machine utilization to improve efficiency.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Liaise Closely with Construction Sites: Act as the key point of contact between production and project/site teams; schedule coordination with site requirements and milestones; attend site meetings; resolve on-site challenges.
• Ensure Smooth Project Execution: Work with project managers, engineers, and logistics to ensure timely delivery; monitor progress and adjust plans; manage subcontractors or external vendors.
• Maintain Quality & Compliance: Ensure all steel products meet specs and safety standards; collaborate with QA/QC; uphold workplace safety.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor production teams; foster cross-functional collaboration; build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Production Manager (Steel) – Role Overview

As a Production Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations—driving the end-to-end production of steel components while ensuring seamless coordination between the factory and construction sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bridging on-site execution with manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Drive Production Excellence

• Oversee daily steel production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met

• Optimize workflows, manpower planning, and machine utilization to improve overall efficiency

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

Liaise Closely with Construction Sites

• Act as the key point of contact between production and project/site teams

• Coordinate production schedules in line with site requirements, installation timelines, and project milestones

• Attend site meetings when required to align on technical specifications, delivery sequencing, and urgent changes

• Proactively resolve on-site challenges related to steel fabrication, delivery, or installation

Ensure Smooth Project Execution

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of fabricated steel components

• Monitor production progress against project schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines

• Manage subcontractors or external vendors where necessary

Maintain Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all steel products meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address any non-conformance issues promptly

• Uphold workplace safety practices across both factory and site interactions

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational goals

• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, procurement, and site teams

• Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
