Job summary

JIAN BANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Project Manager to lead steel structure projects from planning through site installation in Singapore.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and teams to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery, while interpreting drawings and complying with BCA standards. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of steel structure project management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience managing steel structure projects in Singapore.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and project requirements with accuracy.
• Familiarity with BCA regulations, workplace safety requirements, and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead steel structure projects by planning, executing, and delivering fabrication, delivery, and site installation phases to meet project goals
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and stakeholder alignment
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to guide project activities and ensure accuracy
• Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, quality standards, safety protocols, and manpower allocation to achieve project objectives
• Resolve technical, operational, and site coordination issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project progress
• Prepare detailed project reports, work schedules, and resource plans to support management decision-making and project tracking
• Attend project meetings and communicate progress updates effectively to management and clients
• Ensure all project activities comply with BCA regulations, workplace safety standards, and project specifications

• Proficient knowledge of steel fabrication, erection, and installation processes
• Familiarity with BCA regulations, workplace safety requirements, and construction standards
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and coordinate effectively with consultants and site teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to lead teams and manage multiple projects independently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with structural steel works, metal works, grating systems, platforms, staircases, and related steel structures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project planning software
