Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking a Site Operations Lead in Singapore to head the construction team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will coordinate with internal teams, manage subcontractors, and drive safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least five years in a similar role, with strong leadership and PM skills to optimize productivity and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related building discipline.
• Five years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of C&S, M&E, and architectural works.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory approval processes and Building Control Act.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction works, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/EHS requirements.
• Resolve site issues, drawing discrepancies, and variations.
• Manage project costs, reports, progress payments, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Review tenders, interview subcontractors, and recommend subcontract awards.
• Lead and train site engineers and supervisors.
• Conduct site progress meetings and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure CoreTrade compliance, timely EPSS and C-Score submissions, and proper project documentation.
• Complete final accounts and upload project documents to SharePoint within three months of TOP.
• Improve construction processes, productivity, and site performance.
