Job summary

Steeltech Industries Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support the Project Head in planning, monitoring and delivering ongoing civil engineering projects in Singapore.

You will ensure project quality and compliance, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and oversee documentation to meet safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering preferred.
• Experience in steelwork, metalwork fabrication and erection an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Head (HOD) in the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of progress for on-going projects.
• Ensure project quality of highest standards by meeting client's expectations while satisfying relevant authority and regulatory compliances.
• Plan and manage all details of projects from inception to completion.
• Manage and supervise the project budget for all assigned projects; Monitor and control project’s costs by taking proactive measures to prevent costs overruns.
• Ensure projects comply with safety policies, rules, and regulations.
• Identify potential construction-related issues or contractual disputes and implement appropriate solutions.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.
• Plan, forecast and track sub-contractors work progress, provide weekly schedules, and conduct daily coordination meeting to ensure project timelines are met by sub-contractors.
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentations.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Project Head (HOD).

• Preferably Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
