Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited Singapore Branch is seeking a seasoned civil engineer to support the project management team on large-scale building projects. You will coordinate site activities, review drawings, and ensure construction aligns with specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, capable of working independently and as part of a team, throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in full building projects lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Good teamwork and willingness to contribute and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meetings related to technical issues.
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings and documents to consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress, perform periodic inspections and attend meetings during construction.
• Coordinate and check subcontractors' works for compliance with drawings and quality requirements.
• Record daily progress and prepare reports for Construction Manager.
• Supervise site activities and coordinate with subcontractors, RE and RTO.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues.
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project.
• Coordinates and check sub-contractors works being carried out, ensuring their compliances to drawings and quality requirements.
• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule.
• Prepare daily records and reports to the Construction Manager.
• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO.

Requirements

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 7 years relevant experience in the related field for this position
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Preferably with experience in full building projects lifecycle
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.
