Job summary

HOCK BOON PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to plan, coordinate and supervise project activities from initiation to completion.

You will oversee daily construction, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications. Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve site-driven changes, monitor progress against the master schedule, and maintain quality and safety on site in Singapore. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 1–2 years of experience in construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years experience in construction projects in Singapore or overseas
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts ,specifications and local building regulations methods and materials
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with AutoCAD ; basic project management software skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise project activities from initiation to completion.
• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring alignment with design drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve site-driven changes.
• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely
