Job summary

VANZBON INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is recruiting for on-site roles in Tuas Industrial Area, Singapore, supporting installation and commissioning of large-scale Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO) equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore R1 Work Permit under construction sector or eligible to obtain before Sept 2026.
• Eligible for transfer of employer under MOM requirements and approval.
• Practical skills in at least one of: Electrical work, Welding, Pipe fitting, Metal fabrication, Mechanical fitting, FRP fabrication and installation, or Large machinery/industrial equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site installation and assembly of large-scale RTO equipment.
• Perform electrical installation, welding, piping, metal fabrication, mechanical fitting, FRP fabrication and installation as required.
• Carry out equipment positioning, connection, installation and adjustment per drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors and other trades to complete installation, testing and commissioning.
• Use and maintain construction tools, welding equipment, electrical tools and PPE properly.
• Comply with Singapore workplace safety requirements, risk assessments, safe work procedures and company policies.
• Inspect completed installation work and report quality issues or site difficulties to supervisor.
• Support subsequent equipment repair, preventive maintenance and operational servicing as required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.

COMPANY INTRODUCTION

Our parent company in China is a manufacturing enterprise specialising in the design and production of large-scale Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO) environmental protection systems. Each unit weighs approximately 50 to 80 tonnes. The company handles its own manufacturing, on-site installation and subsequent maintenance, providing clients with complete environmental equipment solutions. Our Singapore company has been registered for more than one year and is responsible for undertaking local projects involving equipment installation, commissioning support and ongoing operation and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the on-site installation and assembly of large-scale RTO environmental protection equipment.
• Perform work according to the assigned trade, including electrical installation, welding, piping, metal fabrication, mechanical fitting, equipment maintenance or FRP fabrication and installation.
• Carry out equipment positioning, connection, installation and adjustment according to drawings, project requirements and technical instructions.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors and other trades to complete equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Use and maintain construction tools, welding equipment, electrical tools and personal protective equipment properly.
• Comply with Singapore workplace safety requirements, risk assessments, safe work procedures and company policies.
• Inspect completed installation work and promptly report quality issues, equipment abnormalities or site difficulties to the supervisor.
• Support subsequent equipment repair, preventive maintenance and operational servicing when required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must hold a valid Singapore R1 Work Permit under the construction sector or be able to obtain valid R1 certification before commencing employment in September 2026.
• The applicant's existing Work Permit must be valid, and the applicant must be eligible for a transfer of employer, subject to MOM requirements and approval.
• Applicants must possess practical skills in at least one of the following trades:Electrical work;Welding;Pipe fitting;Metal fabrication;Mechanical fitting;FRP fabrication and installation; orLarge machinery or industrial equipment installation.
• Extensive experience is not mandatory. However, applicants must possess sufficient practical skills to perform general work independently within their trade.
• Applicants must be able to understand technical instructions in Mandarin and communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors and other site personnel.
• Applicants must be willing and able to work at project sites in the Tuas Industrial Area.
• Applicants must be physically fit and capable of performing equipment installation, construction and other manual work.
• Applicants must be willing to work overtime or on rest days when reasonably required by the project schedule.
• Applicants must demonstrate a responsible working attitude, safety awareness and good teamwork.
• Applicants holding relevant welding, electrical, construction trade or professional certificates will be given additional consideration.
