Job summary

Talent Recruit in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical/ Electrical Service Technician based in SG. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and machinery across the fleet, diagnosing faults, and upgrading systems with PLC programming.

You will read drawings and ensure safety compliance under WSH regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field, has hands-on troubleshooting skills, basic data entry, and a valid driving

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical trades.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanical failures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and mechanical machinery across the customer fleet.
• Diagnose and resolve operational equipment issues and electrical faults.
• Plan, design, and install electrical systems including AC/DC motor controls and PLC programming.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
• Ensure equipment operates safely in accordance with Singapore WSH regulations.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of all maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with yard operations, loading/unloading trucks, and stock inventory.

Industry : Construction & Industrial Equipment Rental (Vertical Access Solutions Work Platforms)

Working hours : 6 working days (8am - 5pm)

KeyResponsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and mechanical machinery across the customer fleet
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve operational equipment issues and electrical faults
• System Upgrades: Plan, design, and install electrical systems, including AC/DC motor controls and PLC programming.
• Technical Analysis: Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment operates safely in accordance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed logs and reports of all maintenance and repair work.
• General Workshop Duties : Assist with yard operations, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining stock inventory.

Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Trade Experience: Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical trades.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Expertise in diagnosing mechanical failures and electrical circuit issues.
• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field is an advantage.
• Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance reporting.
• Technical Skills: Experience with VFC inspections, motor repairs, welding, and machinery or winch assembly.
• Valid Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage.
• Forklift licence preferred.
