Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a leading construction team in Singapore. You will provide engineering support throughout project execution, ensuring works meet technical, quality and safety standards.

This role offers collaboration with project teams, consultants and contractors on large-scale projects while developing your engineering expertise and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• RE certification in Singapore is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience required.
• Knowledge of building regulations, safety requirements and construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination and site management skills.
• Ability to work independently on-site and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review construction works for compliance with project specifications, approved drawings and Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and maintain project documentation.
• Provide technical support to the Superintending Officer/Professional Engineer as required.
• Review temporary works to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor work procedures against method statements and Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a leading construction team. You will be responsible for providing engineering support throughout project execution,ensuring works meet the required technical, quality and safety standards.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project teams, consultants and contractors while gaining exposure to large-scale construction projects and furtherdeveloping your engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings and applicable Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Provide technical support and assistance to the Superintending Officer / Professional Engineer as required.
• Review contractors’ temporary works to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contractors’ work procedures against approved method statements and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify any defects or non-conformities.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
