Job summary

RB TECH & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate site activities on construction projects in Singapore.

You will ensure works follow approved drawings and specs, maintain quality and safety, review documents, manage site records, and collaborate with subcontractors, consultants and project teams. This role may involve rotating day and night shifts, weekends or public holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil/construction engineering
• Minimum 3 years site engineering experience
• Able to read construction drawings and specs
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD is a plus
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work rotating day/night shifts

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.


• Monitor work progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedule.


• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project team members.


• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.


• Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality complies with project requirements.


• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, checklists and progress records.


• Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate with relevant parties for corrective actions.


• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.


• Monitor materials, manpower and equipment requirements at site.


• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress.


• Perform day and night shift duties as assigned, including shift handover and site monitoring.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of relevant site engineering experience in the construction industry.


• Experience in site supervision, project coordination and construction works.


• Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.


• Good communication and coordination skills.


• Able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good problem-solving and time-management skills.


• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required.


• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and workplace safety requirements will be an advantage.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
