Job summary

Obayashi Singapore Private Limited seeks a Construction Manager to oversee on-site civil infrastructure works, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across road, MRT, tunnel or viaduct projects.

You will lead site teams, review method statements, coordinate with clients and authorities, manage resources, and drive progress reporting while maintaining site safety culture and compliance with LTA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of site experience in civil or infrastructure projects (road, MRT, tunnel or viaduct).
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of LTA standards and construction methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the site construction team, including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review and prepare method statements for submission to the client.
• Plan, monitor and control work schedules in line with the master and detailed construction program.
• Ensure progress meets schedule and quality standards; conduct site inspections and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, subcontractors and authorities on project activities.
