SIOP Material Planner - SAP & Inventory Strategy

Job summary

RTX seeks an experienced SIOP/MRP planner in Singapore to drive data-driven planning by analyzing demand, supply and inventory trends. You will manage material master data in SAP, support NPI transitions, and align forecasts with production capacity and inventory strategies.

Collaboration with Production Planners and Operations is essential to optimize PFEP, lead times, safety stock and yield parameters while maintaining BOM data integrity for accurate MRP and smooth production planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in aerospace industry is preferred.
• Bachelor degree in Economics, Statistics, Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, supply and inventory trends to support mid- to long-term SIOP planning.
• Manage material master data in SAP and optimize PFEP parameters.
• Support NPI transitions and phase-in/phase-out planning.
• Assess lead times, safety stock and yield parameters to improve service levels.
• Audit and maintain BOM and material master data to ensure accurate MRP.
• Coordinate annual costing lot size reviews with Finance and Engineering.
• Support cross-functional SIOP reviews with global stakeholders across time zones.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for planning and master data processes.
• Provide SAP planning support for production control issues and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production Planners and Operations to improve inventory performance.
