Job summary

UNITED PERSONNEL SERVICES in Singapore seeks a Material Planner to support production by planning material requirements and maintaining efficient inventory levels.

You will monitor stock levels, coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Stores and suppliers, and manage MRP/ERP data to ensure timely deliveries and reporting. Prior experience in manufacturing and lean practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field.
• Experience in material planning, inventory, purchasing or supply chain; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiar with MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, coordination and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of JIT/Lean practices is an advantage.
• Singaporean only need apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability, consumption and stock levels; follow up on shortages, delays and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Stores, Sales/Customer Service and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage MRP/ERP data, purchase requirements and supplier delivery schedules.
• Prepare inventory, material usage and supplier performance reports.
• Support stock takes, supplier evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain relevant material and compliance documentation.
• Identify supply risks and implement solutions to minimize production disruption and inventory costs.
