Job summary

Michael Page International is recruiting for an experienced payments compliance leader to spearhead Singapore's licensing initiative. The role focuses on coordinating the licence application from start to finish and ensuring regulatory readiness for a cross-border payments business entering the market.

You will engage with the regulator and external advisers, review governance, AML/CFT policies, and risk frameworks, and advise senior management on licensing strategy and timelines.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance or regulatory experience within payments, fintech, or cross-border payments.
• Proven hands-on experience leading Singapore payment services licence applications.
• Strong knowledge of the Payment Services Act and AML/CFT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Singapore payments licensing process from application to approval.
• Review and strengthen licensing materials including governance and compliance documentation.
• Act as regulatory contact for regulator and external advisers.
• Advise management on licensing strategy and regulatory readiness for Singapore operations.
