Job summary

Samsung Electronics Singapore seeks a procurement professional to champion local sourcing, lead supplier discovery and promote Singapore-based suppliers to R&D, NPI and Global Procurement. You will ensure compliance with local policies as an individual contributor.

You will identify Singapore suppliers for consumer electronics, evaluate capabilities, assess readiness for advanced manufacturing, and advocate for local partners to join the AVL with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Engineering (Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical). Min. 2 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, procurement or technology NPI, preferably within consumer electronics or high tech manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential Singapore-base suppliers for consumer electronics; build local supplier pool.
• Evaluate suppliers against internal benchmarks and Samsung's procurement strategy.
• Assess tech readiness and capabilities; foster pilot projects with internal teams.
• Advocate for local suppliers and drive AVL integration through internal buy-in.
