Job summary

VIVAIA Singapore is seeking an experienced General Manager – Retail & Commercial to lead the Singapore business and drive sustainable growth. This hands-on leader will oversee sales, P&L, retail operations, merchandising, marketing, customer experience and business development.

The role requires a proven track record in growing retail businesses, deep understanding of modern retail, digital marketing and store operations, and the ability to translate insights into actions that boost performance

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in retail leadership roles, ideally multi-store.
• Experience managing P&L and business performance.
• Strong merchandising, marketing and retail operations understanding.
• Proven track record of growing sales and profitability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of Singapore’s retail and consumer market.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Overall Business & P&L Management for Singapore.
• Take responsibility for sales, profitability and business performance.
• Develop annual and monthly sales, profit and growth plans.
• Monitor gross margin, operating expenses, inventory and store profitability.
• Identify opportunities and risks; implement corrective actions.
• Present regular business reviews and growth plans to management.
• Drive sustainable growth across all Singapore stores and online channels.
• Lead Retail Operations, set targets and KPIs, and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with Merchandising/Product for inventory and assortment.
• Lead Marketing to develop Singapore strategies and campaigns.
• Track consumer trends and market developments to inform strategy.
• Develop partnerships and opportunities for new stores or channels.
• Directly manage and develop Singapore retail leadership team.
