Job summary

STRACO Leisure PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable professional to support the development and implementation of new facilities, offerings and visitor experiences for the Singapore Flyer.

You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage projects, and prepare documentation and communications for presentations and reports. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in business development, project management or tourism, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Business, Project Management, Tourism or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in business development, project management or tourism is preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends, new media solutions and retail business in the tourism sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders in conceptualization, planning and implementation of new visitor products, services and experiences.
• Assist in day-to-day management and implementation of projects as well as communications with business and project partners including consultants, contractors and government agencies.
• Source and identify potential business opportunities and conduct project feasibility studies for the group’s opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating projects and activities including scheduling and completion of work assignments.
• Maintain project documentation and provide administrative support for presentations, reports, meetings and communications.
• Facilitate clear communication between departments, management and project partners.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management.

Overall Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders in the conceptualization, planning and implementation of new visitor products, services and experiences.
• Assist in day-to-day management and implementation of projects as well as communications with business & project partners including consultants, contractors and government agencies;
• Source and identify as well as conduct project feasibility studies for Group’s potential business opportunities;
• Assist in coordinating projects and activities including scheduling and completion of work assignments;
• Maintain project documentation and provide administrative support for presentations, reports, meetings and communications;
• Facilitating clear communication between departments, management and project partners;
• Any other duties as assigned by Management.
  

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

• Degree in Communications, Business, Project Management, Tourism or a related discipline
• At least 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in Business Development, Project Management or Tourism
• In-depth knowledge of the current trends, new media solutions & retail business in the tourism sector is advantageous
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to operate within a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organizational and administration skills
• Able to work independently and make judgment calls whenever required with the ability to multi-task
