Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Physical Security Investigations Manager for APAC in Singapore. You will lead investigations into security incidents involving personnel, assets, and vendors, coordinate with regional teams, and support incident response with timely, sound judgement.

The role requires strong English communication, risk assessment skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information while traveling up to 25% globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security investigations or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including executive summaries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support physical security investigations involving personnel, assets, vendors and incidents, including fact-finding and reporting.
• Assess incidents, identify risks, recommend actions, elevate as needed.
• Support incident response activities requiring timely coordination and discretion.
• Plan and execute physical security red team testing, exercises and control assessments across locations.
• Collaborate with Ethics Office, Legal, HR, Workplace, Facilities, IT, Risk Control and leadership to improve controls and response.
• Develop investigation plans, case records and after-action reports per SOP.
• Identify patterns and gaps, translating findings into practical improvements.
