ByteDance is seeking an experienced Investigations Lead in Singapore to identify and address potential misconduct, financial crime, and policy violations. The role involves data-driven investigations, interview-based evidence gathering, and collaboration with Ethics, Legal, HR, and external counsel.

Your work will help protect the company's integrity by developing internal procedures, risk assessment frameworks, and remediation plans across a large organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 4+ years of investigations experience in financial crime.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends and typologies related to financial fraud, money laundering, bribery, and corruption.
• Proven experience building internal investigation case-management systems, including allegation triage and remediation processes.
• Experience performing internal fraud risk assessments and implementing remediation and control measures.
• Strong background investigating and advising on internal misconduct matters across an organization.

Responsabilités

• Conduct investigations of policy violation, data leakage, fraud and financial abuse and develop data-led monitoring systems.
• Identify, obtain, and analyze financial and operational data relevant to investigations.
• Interview employees, obtain evidence, and recommend control enhancements.
• Build cases by collecting witness statements and evidence for potential losses.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to senior management and HR/Legal.
• Document investigations with supporting evidence in work papers.
• Collaborate with senior management, Employment Relations, Ethics, Legal Counsel, and DPO, and with external counsel and law enforcement.
• Assess internal fraud risk by monitoring platforms and deep-dive projects.
• Identify threats to the company and take prompt action.
