Job summary

Molex is seeking a Technical Project Manager based in Singapore to lead global, cross-functional teams through the New Product Development process from initiation to production start. You will manage multiple technical projects, collaborate with customers, guide team members, and own key project decisions in a demanding, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, manufacturing or supply management.
• Minimum five years in project management within product development or a technical environment.
• Experience leading multinational teams in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in Mandarin to engage Mandarin-speaking customers and associates.
• Willingness to obtain PMP certification within one year.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple New Product Development projects for customer-specific and general market initiatives.
• Ensure projects align with customer deliverables through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop Project Charters outlining strategy, scope, financials and schedule.
• Manage change control and project decision documentation.
• Develop and close project plans, transferring to production owner.
• Own macro schedules and oversee functional team micro-schedules.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting cost, quality or timing.
