Job summary

Molex Far East South Management Pte Ltd is seeking a strategic Senior Director to lead global logistics procurement across ocean/air/road/rail, warehousing, and 3PL/4PL services. You will set category strategy, govern contracts, optimize supplier portfolios, and drive cost, service, and resilience across the network.

You will report to the Chief Procurement Officer, based in Singapore with 30–50% international travel, and lead a high-performing team across regions to deliver measurable savings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive operations, procurement and sourcing experience, with 3 years in global leadership.
• Proficient in Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers and collaborate with counterparts.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable savings, service improvements, and supply continuity globally.
• Deep knowledge of multimodal freight markets, warehousing models, and 3PL/4PL contracting.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year global logistics procurement strategy aligned with financial targets.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global team of sourcing leaders with clear metrics.
• Own strategic sourcing across ocean, air, road, rail, warehousing and 3PL/4PL services.
• Lead RFQs and negotiations; govern global agreements, rates, service levels and compliance.
• Optimize supplier portfolio to increase leverage while protecting capacity and coverage.
• Drive total landed cost and cost-to-deliver improvements.
• Partner with operations, planning, finance, and commercial teams on capacity and lead times.
• Own supplier governance including scorecards, reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Advance digital tools: e-sourcing, TMS integration, contract management, and analytics.
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and ESG risks through risk planning.
• Ensure adherence to trade, customs, export-control, and procurement requirements.
• Report savings and value outcomes to executive stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
