The role involves data management, scripting, and documenting project progress, with opportunities to contribute to industry collaborations and technology deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Microelectronics or related field.
• Knowledge of silicon photonics, PICs, semiconductor processes or microelectronics technologies.
• Experience with layout design, GDS generation, and tape-out flows for photonics or semiconductors.
• Proficiency in Python, Tcl, MATLAB for workflow automation and data processing.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and support Silicon Photonics PDKs, libraries, tech files and documentation.
• Manage process and device data for traceability and accessibility across development activities.
• Support PIC layout generation, GDS creation, verification, and tape-out activities.
• Perform layout verification, DRC, and tape-out validation for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with process, device, test, and modeling teams to update design flows.
• Develop scripts and databases to improve design productivity and data management.
