Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Photonics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with active/passive photonic devices and optical measurements.
• Familiarity with optical alignment and lab instruments (lasers, OSAs).
• Strong analytical, programming, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze photonic devices such as waveguides, modulators, and detectors.
• Perform optical simulations using industry tools (Lumerical, FDTD/FEM).
• Support silicon photonics and integrated optics projects.
• Conduct optical measurements and validate device performance.
• Prepare design reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams on design constraints.
• Assist in prototyping and device characterization.
