Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related disciplines.
• Interest or passion in microelectronics or optoelectronics.
• Experience with Lumerical and/or Zemax simulation software preferred.
• Programming skills in Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory work involving simulation, fabrication, and characterization of photonic chips and devices.
• Perform basic data processing, analysis, correlation, troubleshooting, and presentation of results.
• Review literature to stay updated on photonic and interconnect tech advances.
• Maintain accurate records of research activities, methodologies and results.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists and researchers to achieve project goals.
• Assist in equipment purchase, commissioning and ownership.
