Job summary

KWE-Kintetsu World Express (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to oversee ocean export shipments and manage sea freight documentation within our global logistics network in Singapore. You will book shipments, prepare Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, DG declarations, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery while maintaining accurate transactional records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding and sea freight operations.
• Able to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
• Available to start work on short notice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate ocean export shipments to meet customer and carrier requirements.
• Prepare and handle full sets of sea freight shipping documents including Bills of Lading (BL), Certificates of Origin (COO), and Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations.
• Coordinate with carriers and co-loaders to make bookings, submit Shipping Instructions (SI), and arrange payments.
• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations and transaction processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and transporters to coordinate timely collection, delivery, and container handling of shipments.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operational needs.
