Job summary

Clarksons Singapore Pte. Limited is seeking an organized administrative support professional for the Dry Cargo chartering desk.

You will maintain market data, prepare reports, and assist brokers with daily tasks while liaising with Finance and Operations to ensure smooth operations. The role welcomes fresh graduates and individuals with limited experience who demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Well-organised, with good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to develop within the shipbroking industry.
• A collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and take initiative when supporting the broking team.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with limited work experience are welcome to apply.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with colleagues on the desk.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update market data and spreadsheets accurately.
• Prepare tonnage, cargo and market reports to support the broking desk.
• Assist brokers with day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations and client information.
• Liaise with Finance and Operations on administrative matters.
• Maintain organised records and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc duties as required.
