Job summary

SLEIPNER SHIPPING PTE LTD is seeking a Vessel Operations Coordinator to manage port and immigration formalities, vessel documentation, and coordination of services such as bunkering, crew changes, and supplier support. You will liaise with shipowners, operators and customers to ensure smooth port calls.

The role requires strong coordination, communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, including irregular hours based on vessel schedules in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in shipping agency or vessel operations.
• Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations, procedures and tariffs.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to vessel arrival and departure schedules.
• Able to work under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process port and immigration formalities, declarations and vessel clearances.
• Take responsibility for operational matters and documentation relating to assigned vessels.
• Coordinate bunkering, husbandry services, crew changes, surveyors and suppliers.
• Arrange transportation for crew members between vessels, airports and other locations.
• Provide timely updates on vessel schedules, prospects and work progress to all relevant parties.
• Maintain good relationships with customers, shipowners, operators and service providers.
• Attend vessels physically at Singapore ports and anchorages when required.
