Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to run the shift, manage people, execute the production plan, and ensure safety, quality, and output targets in real time in our Singapore fab. You will drive yield improvements, optimize manpower, and support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Engineering or related fields, strong communication and coaching abilities, and willingness to work rotating 24/7

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-handling skills.
• Ability to organize manpower, assign tasks, and manage breaks while maintaining production output.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations by managing people, executing the production plan, and ensuring safety, quality, and output targets in real time.
• Achieve production targets by maintaining WIP flow linearity and maximizing equipment capacity.
• Drive improvements in fab yield and promote quality awareness across the team.
• Foster a disciplined and productive workforce through effective manpower allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain strong audit readiness and follow up on workforce discipline actions.
• Improve people productivity through resource management, multi-skilling, and training.
• Support production planning to achieve higher moves and turns and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Promote a safe, green, and healthy working environment in line with EHS requirements.
• Support cost reduction activities and responsible use of resources.
