Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing by executing process experiments and monitoring performance.

You will collaborate with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Production teams, handling process control, yield improvement, and defect reduction while adhering to cleanroom procedures and night-shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma with relevant semiconductor experience.
• 3–5 years' semiconductor background; exposure to cleanroom environment and wafer processing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor process steps and modules.
• Familiarity with SPC tools, data analysis, and problem-solving methods (e.g., 5 Why, Pareto).
• Ability to work with MES, process control, and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers.
• Willingness to work in cleanroom environment and night shift pattern, and be on-call for overtime line support.
• Proactive, curious, and willing to learn complex processes step by step.
