Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a Shift Process Technician for Fab10 to advance semiconductor manufacturing. You will work in a collaborative team to drive continuous improvement and implement AI-enabled tools for efficiency, quality, and yield.

The role emphasizes SPC and defect analysis, handling wafer processing equipment, and ensuring weekly output through proactive issue resolution and disciplined SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of SPC applications in wafer fabrication.
• Experience with wafer processing machinery and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and data collection skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Solid knowledge of SPC, SWR, QDR, MES, Yield3, and Klarity.
• Ability to apply AI literacy in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard work focusing on day-to-day issue management.
• Complete scheduled PM or CM tool recovery to meet weekly output.
• Monitor and address out-of-control events per SPC/FDC rules following SOP.
• Process special work requests accurately and promptly.
• Perform alarm wafer disposition and tool dispositions per FRM standards.
• Ensure all hold lots are attended to and disposed of with quality.
• Supervise inline/probe indices for deviations and initiate investigations.
• Keep Lead Engineer informed of process issues and down statuses.
• Take initiative with added responsibilities, e.g., OSC, and propose yield improvements.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to boost efficiency and quality.
• Identify, test, and share AI-enabled improvements within scope.
