Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking Equipment Technicians to monitor, sustain and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. You will work with shift operations, maintenance teams and tool vendors to keep toolsets performing at peak levels.

Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering and willingness to rotate 12-hour shifts, plus familiarity with MES and automation tools, will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies preferred.
• Knowledge of AI tools and applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with MES and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors tool performance and schedules preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electro-mechanical equipment.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment per manuals.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment for checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• Implements equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
