Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Process Engineer to support the process engineering team on manufacturing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring process stability, resolving technical issues, and driving yield and productivity improvements.

You will work closely with operators, technicians, maintenance, and quality teams to deliver safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing or process engineering environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a shift-based production environment.
• Good understanding of SPC and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance and production indicators.
• Collect, organize, and analyze process data for engineering decisions.
• Support troubleshooting of process issues, defects, and equipment deviations.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in process improvement and optimization activities.
• Support validation, qualification, and change implementation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Assist in shift handovers and communicate issues to the engineering team.
• Perform additional engineering tasks as assigned.
