Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Duty Superintendent to oversee operations at Tuas, ensuring safety and compliance. The role includes night and weekend coverage, coordination with departments, and emergency response responsibilities.

The candidate will support shift supervisors, monitor CCR, conduct routine checks, and ensure PPE, SOPs, and environmental health and safety standards are observed at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum 2 years' experience in process industry
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operation activities and safety measures, including after office hours, night and weekends.
• Support plant shift supervisors to manage the shift operations and staff discipline.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors and authorities on job arrangements and staffing.
• Work as SIC/SMC after office hours to coordinate emergencies.
• Involve in shutdown jobs when required.
• Monitor the CCR system.
• Carry out routine checks with the Duty superintendent Checklist every four hours.
• Check department activities and ensure SOP compliance.
• Inspect firefighting equipment and ensure good condition.
• Monitor waste unloading and ensure PPE use, grounding, and no spills.
• Check staff breaks during night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Adhere strictly to all EHS rules and plant regulations

Education
