Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Duty Superintendent in Tuas. Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, with 2700–3000 SGD basic salary plus OT and shift allowances. Requires a Diploma/Degree in engineering or chemistry and at least 2 years in the process industry. Must perform 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, ensuring safety, coordinating with departments and authorities, and handling emergency events after hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in Process industry.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operation activities and ensure safety measures are in place, especially after office hour, night and weekend.
• Assist plant shift supervisors to manage shift operations and monitor staff discipline to ensure safe and smooth operations.
• Coordinate key matters among all departments, contractors, and authorities, including job arrangement and staff allocation, and attend authority visitors.
• Work as SIC/SMC after office hours to coordinate and manage all emergency events.
• Involve in shutdown jobs if required.
• Monitor and manage the CCR system.
• Carry out routine checks using the Duty superintendent Checklist every four hours.
• Check department daily activities and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Check firefighting equipment and ensure good working condition.
• Monitor waste unloading and preparation, ensure PPE usage, grounding, and prevent spillages.
• Check staff breaks during night, weekend and public holidays.
• Adhere to all EHS rules and plant regulations.

Duty Superintendent

• Location: Tuas


• (Company Transport / Transport Allowance if candidate travel to work by themselves)


• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)


• Basic: $2700 to $3000 + Entitled to OT + Entitled to shift allowances
  At least Diploma in Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent
  At least 2 years' experience in Process industry
  Able to perform 12-hr rotating shift

Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage all operation activities and ensure safety measures are in place, especially after office hour, night and weekend.


• To help individual plant shift supervisor to manage the shift operations and monitor shift staff discipline to ensure all operation activities are carried out safely and smoothly.


• To coordinate key matters among all departments as well as contractors and authorities, such as job arrangement and staff allocation, attend authority visitors, etc.


• To work as SIC/SMC after office hour to coordinate and manage all emergency events.


• If it is required, to involve in shutdown jobs, etc.


• To monitor and manage the CCR system.


• To carry out routine check with the use of \"Duty superintendent Checklist\" every four hours.


• To check department daily activities and to make sure that staff are following the SOP's.


• To check firefighting equipment and make sure it's in good working condition.


• To monitor all waste unloading and preparation if necessary and to make sure all required PPE are used, check if grounding is used and to make sure that no spillage of waste during the process.


• To check all departments 'break time (tea & lunch/dinner) during night shift, weekend and public holiday.


• To adhere strictly on all EHS rules and regulations imposed by the plant.
