Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring for a process industry operations role in Singapore. The candidate will oversee all operation activities, ensure safety protocols, and support shift supervision across multiple departments and contractors.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry, with at least 2 years in a process environment and the ability to perform 12-hour rotating shifts. Basic salary is SGD 2700–3000 with AWS and a variable bonus, located at Tuas.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 2 years' experience in processing industry.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operation activities and ensure safety measures, especially after hours, nights and weekends.
• Assist plant shift supervisors to manage shift operations and monitor staff discipline for safe, smooth operations.
• Coordinate across departments, contractors and authorities for job arrangements and staff allocation.
• Work as SIC/SMC after hours to coordinate and manage emergency events.
• Involvement in shutdown jobs when required.
• Monitor and manage the CCR system.
• Perform routine checks using the Duty Superintendent Checklist every four hours.
• Ensure daily department activities follow SOPs.
• Check firefighting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Monitor waste unloading and ensure PPE usage, grounding and spill prevention.
• Monitor breaks during night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Adhere strictly to all EHS rules and plant regulations.

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage all operation activities and ensure safety measures are in place, especially after office hour, night and weekend.
• To help individual plant shift supervisor to manage the shift operations and monitor shift staff discipline to ensure all operation activities are carried out safely and smoothly.
• Coordinate key matters among all departments as well as contractors and authorities, such as job arrangement and staff allocation, attend authority visitors, etc.
• To work as SIC/SMC after office hour to coordinate andmanage all emergency events.
• If it is required, to involve in shutdown jobs, etc.
• To monitor and manage the CCR system.
• To carry out routine check with the use of "Duty superintendent Checklist" every four hours.
• To check department daily activities and to make sure that staff are following the SOP's.
• To check firefighting equipment and make sure it's in good working condition.
• To monitor all waste unloading and preparation if necessary and to make sure all required PPE are used, check if grounding is used and to make sure that no spillage of waste during the process.
• To check all departments break time (tea & lunch/dinner) during night shift, weekend and Public holiday.
• To adhere strictly on all EHS rules and regulations imposed by the plant.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience in Process industry
• Able to perform 12-hr rotating shift
