Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a shift supervisor to lead technicians and contractors on 12-hour day/night shifts in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with production and process teams to meet strategic goals.

You will apply data-driven problem-solving, SOP governance, and AI-enabled tools to optimize operations. Prior experience in semiconductors and proficiency with MS Office are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering/science.
• Willing to work permanent 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, internships, or activities.
• Strong problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, PFMEA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• PROBE internship in a semiconductor company is a plus.
• Experience on related projects is a plus.
• Interest in semiconductors and Micron; AI applications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shift technicians and contractors to hit operational targets.
• Call out issues on the production line causing roadblocks.
• Ensure training and SOP compliance to mitigate safety/quality risks.
• Analyze data and perform root-cause analysis for equipment issues.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Establish and review SOPs for ongoing relevance and optimization.
• Explore AI approaches to improve productivity and quality.
• Assess and plan deployment of new equipment and materials.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing AI enhancements.
