Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, invites applications for the Shift Associate Chemist based in Tuas, Singapore. You will ensure testing activities are conducted safely and in line with GMP/GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable, and support method transfers, equipment qualifications, and investigations.

Responsibilities include providing analytical services to Plant Operations, performing calibrations, maintaining equipment, training new analysts, and upholding hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Diploma with 1–3 years of experience acceptable.
• Fresh graduates with lab exposure are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of lab instrumentation (HPLC, UV, ICP).

Responsibilities

• Provide testing, result review, and equipment calibration in the analytical lab.
• Adhere to GMP/GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 standards at all times.
• Support method transfers, equipment qualification, and investigations.
• Train new hires and analysts as needed.
• Ensure safe, productive operations on the production floor.
