Job summary

ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified SharePoint integration engineer to design, configure and support AI-enabled retrieval integrations with SharePoint.

You will implement secure connectivity, authentication and access controls, and optimize search services for better information discovery. You will document architectures, configuration records and procedures, and conduct knowledge transfer for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Preferably Microsoft PL-600 certified or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in SharePoint search services configuration and optimisation.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms and IAM integration.
• Experience with incremental synchronization configuration.
• Experience with on-premises SharePoint environments in a secured network setting.
• Familiarity with security hardening and audit log configuration in SharePoint.
• Able to produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration records and operational procedures.
• Able to conduct knowledge transfer sessions for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Search Optimization & Synchronization: configure and optimize SharePoint search services and establish incremental synchronization.
• Replace SharePoint default search experience: assess and modify search so MI users are directed to the AI-enabled interface.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. a. Assess, Design, Configure and Support for SharePoint Integration with Al retrieval systems
   • Recommend a secure, scalable and future-ready integration solution that addresses information retrieval limitations
2. b.Secure Connectivity & Content Access:
   • Configure and maintain secure system-to-system connections to enable authorized access to SharePoint content (documents, lists, pages, metadata, etc.).
3. c.Authentication & Access Management:
   • Implement authentication and authorization using the organization's approved identity and access management services, ensuring existing user permissions and security trimming are maintained to prevent unauthorized access.
4. d.Search Optimization & Synchronization
   • Configure and optimize SharePoint search services for efficient content discovery, and establish incremental synchronization to keen connected AI svstems undated with content additions, modifications, and deletions.
5. e.Replace SharePoint default search experience
   • Assess and recommend modifications to existing SharePoint search such that MI users are directed to the new AI-enabled retrieval interface when using the SharePoint search bar.
