Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd. is seeking a Private Bank Middle Office Security Settlement specialist in Singapore. You will support settlement for security transactions, validate entries in the PB system and liaise with Back Office and counterparties to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 3–6 years in securities settlement, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A fast-paced, independent work style and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Banking/Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 3–6 years of operations experience in securities settlement across asset classes.
• Able to work independently with tight deadlines and strong communication.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Back Office and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely settlement of security transactions.
• Validate securities transactions in PB system prior to instructing processing units.
• Communicate settlement discrepancies and provide guidance on resolution.
• Reconcile cash and security positions daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate portfolio transfers across asset classes with internal/external parties.
• Disseminate corporate action notifications and obtain timely responses from Front Office.
• Maintain static data of securities in PB system.
• Provide assistance and advice on settlement matters.
